I’m Kelsea Hector: a nonprofit consultant, former K-12 educator, and longtime community advocate. I’ve spent my career supporting organizations that serve people first, building programs, budgets, and systems rooted in care, accountability, and equity.
I’m running for mayor because I believe in Lansing. I believe in the people who call it home, in our shared capacity to dream bigger, and in our power to shape a future that works for all of us.
This campaign is about building real connection between neighbors, city leadership, and the future we all deserve. I’m not here to make promises I can’t keep. I’m here to show up, listen deeply, and lead alongside you.
